Recently, I was trying
to write an accompaniment to my brother's recital song he's going to sing to. This was quite difficult
because it's in D flat.
"Okay, treat it
like C sharp and things will go better."
It didn't go
better.
Just about an
hour later, I had put in all the chords, and was trying VERY hard to play them.
It just wasn't working. So, I decided to transpose it half a step lower to C.
MUCH better. :)
Now I have to
remember that every time I play a note, it is one note lower than written. Brain
hurts.....
Oh well, once I
practice it enough it should come pretty easily.
Now, I am going to rummage in the
refrigerators and see what we have that I can serve for lunch to my ravenously hungry
siblings. :D
